You'd Be Surprised Who's Watching

Eight months ago I took my musical journey public. I had already been learning about the music business, acquiring my studio equipment, writing and creating for over 6 months before that. The idea of social media was so overwhelming, but I decided to try my hand at Facebook business, Instagram, YouTube and of course blogging on ashamae.com. I won't lie to you or myself.  My work has definitely had a DIY look to it and I've sometimes felt a little bad about what I was putting out.  Not to mention that my follower and subscriber counts have been less than desirable. I didn't beat up on myself too bad because one thing is for sure, I was giving it 10000%. We can only do our best right? Well, imagine my surprise when someone reached out to me to let me know that they had been following my story. (Apparently living in my RV and chronicling my musical journey is interesting.) I was shocked that I was asked to be a guest speaker for Full-Time Freedom Week!!!  Although my following was small and my videos lackluster, someone heard me and wanted to hear more from me.

I say all that to say that if you are working on something right now, heck if you are working on yourself, do not be discouraged. Keep pushing. Keep giving it your all. Don't beat up on yourself when you miss the mark. Don't be upset with yourself if you aren't progressing as quickly as you should.  Respect the journey, not just the success. You never know who is watching.

If you are interested in fulltime RVing or just RVing at all, please take a look at my affiliate link. The organizers of the event have put together free resource materials that I wish I had before setting out on this RV journey.

Until next time, stay safe family.
