I am excited to announce that the final single I Don't Have A Dime of my project Something Like Prayer will be released on Tuesday, July 10, 2021 as well as the full EP! This has been quite the experience. When I first approached my producer, Donald Robinson, for the project it was an entire year ago. What started as an idea for a song that I had no real plans for turned into a full EP and the beginning of my music career. Who knew (besides God)? Since that time we have made beautiful music and I've learned so very much. In fact, I must give credit because Donald walked me through the entire process with such patience and grace that I know that this was all orchestrated by God.
Something Like Prayer is my everyday conversation with God. At times I just need a one on one moment to connect and ask "why" like in A Minute With You. At other times when I'm doubting myself I ask him Lord Make A Way. Sometimes I go to God dark because letting out what we keep buried deep quiets the Storm that rages within. Then there are conversations that I have with God where I just affirm my realization that he lives within me and that I am worthy of his love like in By Your Spirit. Finally, in I Don't Have A Dime I let God know that without him, I have nothing. It took me years to learn that one!
I want to thank you for coming along on this journey with me. Of course, this isn't the end and you may be a bit surprised by what lies ahead but I couldn't do anything else without first giving ALL THANKS AND HONOR TO GOD!
